child abuse claims

My ex keeps running the child to the doctor and reporting any bruise she can find on him. What should I do about it? Should I go talk to a lawyer? What would a lawyer really do for me? Should I subject my poor kid to a bruise check with a witness every time I have to take him over to his moms?
