It sounds like you are coping amazingly well.. Where do you want to relocate?

I have just put my NY divorce trial behind me..

Imputing my ex's earnings and business was a multi-year process..

Did your attorney hire a forensic accountant and an actuarial expert??

The problem I see w/ your premise of all your negotiations is that you think that your stbx HAS a viable business..

He could say that you both agreed that he should semi-retire. That he doesn't have a "business" or income anymore and that he needs his unfair share of assets in order to start back into the business world...

The experts and attorneys cost us several hundreds of thousands of dollars.. It probably wasn't worth it; my ex also went through his mid-life crisis.. He has no plans on going back to work full-time.. His gf provides a roof over head and provides for him; he dissipated the marital assets.. You can't get blood from a stone..
