Thanks, Karen. I appreciate your thoughtful, helpful posts.

Your situation is exactly the reason I do not want alimony. Once we're divorced, I want him to keep his nose out of my business, & I'll happily show him how it's done!

My stbx is a health care professional. His business has very little intrinsic value or reasle value or capital assets. The value consists almost entirely of his income. That's why I thought asking for spousal support seemed like double dipping.
