Hi Googledad,

I sure appreciate it that you took the time to patiently re-read & answer again.

You wrote, "ask for all the equity in the house , he can easily quit claim it as it's paid off." It would be GREAT if I could get sole control of the house beofre the divorce is final, so I can put it on the market before the end of the decade! I see there is NYS case law saying such an action can't be forced before divorce, but maybe I could ask for it . Since he already abandoned the house physically, financially & emotionally, maybe he'd quit-claim it to me this year? The worst he can say is no. Should I ask?
