dividing the kids ; can it happen?

Will a judge approve the spilt of a family? (California) Female 14 y/o (brainwashed by mom) wants to move to Utah with mom. Twin 12 y/o boys want to stay in Cal. w dad. Mom wants all the kids in Utah. Dad wants all the kids in Cali. Judge's decision to come, late July. Who has heard of this type pf arrangement made by the court? Or will the judge just force the boys to move with psycho-b*tch mom. (psycho behavior but not officially and no drug/alcohol/abuse)
