That seems to be the most popular path for divorced people I meet, at least the one's that are not serial daters and those like my ex that are so co-dependent, they can't be without the next relationship for a month. They settle, I won't. There is no point, and that's why I believe you are pretty normal and think like most of us. The weekend friend, some fun travel and see what develops. I think if the expectations for both are clear and you are honest and trust develops, what else do you need?
