All she had to do was wait long enough to establish residency and file for custody based on the current status quo. And then filed for child support modification and child support for the child living with her.
They were both in the same county. He was/is a slimeball. The CS Mom was paying him was WAY below guidelines. He told her that IF she wanted to try to make this (the middle daughter living w/her) 'legal' he would make SURE she was paying the state guidelines for the other two kids. So she backed down & let him have his way.
