Of course this is awful, but I think you'll do much better in court if you're calm & collected. Just give the judge the facts & try these lines on for size: -- no ma'am, I didn't know about the refinancing. Please note that his name is the only one of the loans he took out since he left me. -- your honor, he used to contribute $6000/mo. toward our household bills, but now it's only $1000/mo, so I wonder if perhaps he's hiding it (remember, you don't know for sure what he did w/ the money, so say only what you do know) -- well, judge, I may have said some unwise things in the heat of the moment, but of course I don't really want him to go to jail! I'm now calmly working towards a fair split of the marital assets.
Why say you're going after his license??? It makes you look like a person who bites off her nose to spite her face.
