Yes, he is my ex-husband. We were divorced last June, and I have court-ordered visitation rights. However, I live in Iowa and he lives in South Carolina. I have serious health issues, so I do not have the money to spend to go and see them.

Things were "ok" until April of 2004. It was my youngest's birthday and I told my ex I would send money. Well, my mother convinced me I should go pick out a few things, so I did that instead, and paid $20 to ship a *huge* box of toys and clothing.

At that time my ex and I communicated through email. We had talked once on the phone, and things seemed strained, but managable.

I didn't hear from my ex for almost two weeks. So I emailed him to ask if he had received the package and he replied (the whole email) "Yeah, thanks."

I was very hurt.

Now I know my leaving was bad. I regret it to this day. But I don't think I should be punished by being refused to talk with them. When I left they were told I was in the hospital, and wouldn't be coming home. I have NO idea what they're being told about me now. He remarried in July of last year, only 12 days after our divorce was finalized.

I just want pictures. I don't feel that's asking too much.
