If I were in your shoes, I would have the child support directly garnished from his wages.
Child support is calculated based on state guidelines. The only expenses that count are taxes. Everything else isn't considered.
In other words, his refinancing them to pay less child support isn't going to work.
As for the car loans, if your name is on them, the creditors can come after you. So I would ask for more in assets (which is his pension) to compensate and just pay the loan for the car you keep.
