Can I ask a question - and I really hope this is OK. If he is commiting to this woman in terms of living etc why will you stick to the decree saying you can't introduce your daughter to her for a year? Why not meet her first etc and look to do it earlier. I am in the same situation - my partner has an ex wife nad children and I am yet to meet them as she is stopping that right now but my partner says the children ask all the time if they can stay at his (our house) etc. I just feel the only reason the children are not being introduced to me is for revenge purposes and not very productive at all.
Why put off the inevitable and not check out the situation first before commiting everyone to a very difficult year?
