I got a call about an hour ago from my doctor. It wasn't the news I wanted at all. Seems I may be facing Diabetes, though I am not showing any of the usual symptoms, except my blood sugar is definitely elevated. In fact, I've lost almost 30 lbs this last years, 15 in the last 3 months. None of it seems to fit. I'm just very bummed at the moment. This is not something I was prepared for. I go tomorrow to pick up a glucometer to start testing my own blood sugar. Just trying to let it sink in at the moment. One more hurdle to get over...
