Hello, I have been seperated from my husband for 4 months, we had been off and on for the past year.
Anyway, I tried to go threw land of lincoln for low income people, which they said I make to much! HA HA so I called a local lawyer who is willing to work for me. And I am sure he will advise me on what to do with all the property.
My main thing right now is he received $1,000 from his 401k savings from his old job that he had while we were still married,
he deposited it into my account at the bank. We were to split it, but know he is saying he needs the full thousand to being his life over when he get's out of rehab (for drinking)he is saying forget everything here. Which is a home that we both have our names on and he has let the payment go for the last two months. My lawyer says I am intitled to 1/2 of this $1,000, but for some reason I still think that if I only give him his half he won't have enough to get into this second half way house after rehab. Which if he doesn't care about what the mess was left behind here and not caring about it to just right it off, why should I care of what he has to begin again. I fear that if I don't send more than 500 to him he will be mad, and may come after me. I do have an order of protection on him. Everyone tells me I would be dumb to send him more than 500.00. But at this point I am just like fine! I have had enought of him and just want to be rid of him for good. Which never will be for good because we have two wonderful girls together. If anyone could help me clear my head PLEASE DO SO! thanks!
