Attorneys talk with each other, judges talk with each other, judges and attorneys talk with each other. They all work together. Some are friends. The fact that your attorney knows the other one so well can work in your favor -- or not... This goes on everywhere. You'd have to get an attorney from hundreds of miles away and you know what? They'll still talk.
