A 9 year old was "in tears and feeling like vomiting" because she was made to sit still for a single hour? Holy crabs! If I had complained about something like that to any of my parents -- Mom, Dad, SM or SD -- they all would have told me the same thing -- SUCK IT UP AND BEHAVE! AND I would have been grounded on top of it. Sounds like the kid needs some serious discipline...
