============================================================ I am sorry to hear that your family did not apparently evolve to the point of being able to think beyond their reproductive urges. It would seem that the rest of society has moved on while you prefer to remain primitively oblivious, clubbing women and dragging them back to your cave by the hair. That absurd contention alone undermines any reasonable argument and makes further discussion a Sisyphusian task. ============================================================
"preference" has nothing to do with it. If you believe that, I am sure you are a woman, and a superficially educated one at that. Speaking to someone who uses mindless innuendo and believes that every action a human being takes is the reult of a deliberate and conscious decision makes finding any truth, in the process, a brobdingnagian task.
============================================================ You also state that "if someone is foolish enough to VOLUNTARILY have a joint account with another party, uncontrolled by the right contract or other legal instrument, then they get what they deserve." But how, based on your own argument, could someone gushing with hormonal urges and unable to see beyond their aroused genatalia be able to make such a reasoned decision. After all, they would be incapable of understanding what type of potential implied contract that creates. Apparently, you believe one implicit contract is more obvious than another? ============================================================
Another one of your false analogies. The joint account is not comparable to running a business together, because there is an actual, real contract supplied by the bank. The potential victim, in this case, at least gets an opportunity to get full disclosure of what he is getting into before he has to do so in a divorce trial.
