Just had to comment on this one! I have been shaving my leg's and arm pits for more than 30 years and I still manage to cut or break the skin sometimes.
Never once have I suffered an injury that required medical attention. I even currently use the "lotion based" razor and still manage to break the skin more than I would like.
Also tried the other methods that have been suggested. Have not tried Nair since I was a teen, perhaps it has been reformulated since then. Electric razors are convenient but not as effective as the "good old tried and true" I have tried one recently ((Electric)) and still experienced skin irritation.
Bottom line... let your daughter decide when she is ready. Trust me when I say... She will let you know! Sounds to me like you have bigger issues ahead and should pick your battles Wisely.
Were you able to teach you son to stand and Pee at the same time? Or did you need help with that as well.
BTW people, A Banana is a useful tool when it comes to the proper instruction of utilizing a Condom, not shaving. If you feel the need to practice the use of a Razor, I would recommend a KIWI or a Peach. Either way, none of my teens or myself have bled to death yet.
