It has taken me over 5 years to get my report straightened out after being the victim of identity theft...and there are some things on there I don't think I will EVER get off of the report.

Just stay vigilant, report anything suspicious immediately and keep contacting them until they take it off. If they can't prove it was you who made the charges or opened up the account, by law they have to remove it from the report. The onus is on THEM to prove it.
