This brings a whole new meaning of cutting back...

As some of you know, I have to have daughter up to her dad's by June 30/July 1. AND I have to get her by July 8/9th for her camp back her on July 10th. I orginially thought I would be making this trip by myself and was going to visit some of you.... but we are going to THAT trip to July 15th when I take HER BACK UP.

Hubby has decided he wants to go with me as he has 2 weeks off...... so.. what are we going to do? TENT CAMP. (picture me, the one that Relayer thinks lives in hooterville TENT CAMPING). Okay, I am use to Vegas, NY and San Fran...... NOT tent camping!

What we are going to do is take her up- then head to DC for 2 days. (I think we will do a hotel there)...... THEN head west to Chincoteague/Assoteague and will CAMP there for 4 days. THEN head south to Portsmouth/Richmond so son can see that area (He's a Navy boy) stay there for 2/3 days... then head back north to get daughter and head home. So the tent camping will only be 4 days.... but.... it's TENT CAMPING! The place I found looks really clean... nice and is cheaper than dirt $25.00 a night.... so that fits the budget.....

We will get home around the 9th of July and I will head that way the following Monday- so you guys up there... we will work something out to meet up! I've got about 3 days I can play with up there so I am going to take advantage and meet you all!!
