True! She would be to scared to have affair. My question is, how is she having an affair? If her DH is that abusive and controlling, when does she get the chance to cheat?

Also most controlling and abusive spouses will not sit back and allow their spouse to get a degree. they want them home and not working. This is speaking from personal experiance.
