From a woman to a woman...I feel no sympathy for you and I can't believe that you would expect that he supports you while you get a degree. As far as the affair, you where wrong no matter what, and I find it funny how you blame him for your affair. The decent thing that you should have done is: If you were unhappy in your marriage and/or felt abused then you should have gotten out and then decided to fool around. You are coming off as a VERY selfish person who looks out only for yourself. If you live in an "at fault" state then you can kiss any spousal support goodbye and if you have kids the affair will also affect custody.

You most likely are going to regret how you have handled things once your new affair dies off.
