All the more reason for a clean break.
I'm not the right person to advise you on whether to stick around for the house or comingle inheritance to increase your jackpot...
Rather, I can say that the more you pry into email, and leave him messages, etc. the longer you are hurting your own heart.
Easier said than done, I know. But go to a counselor and talk at length about the right way for you to start living the life YOU want to lead and move away from this source of pain. It will NOT involve calling him every 30 minutes...
And long run, you'll feel much happier the more you maintain your integrity and avoid stooping to his level, as compelling as the gory details may be as you work your way through this. Better to make him and them nonentities that can get NO reaction from you than to be all twisted up as they continue their shenanigans.
