No he never said he was going to leave..what he said was.."I don't want to participate anymore with these evil, uncaring people" and then of course posts..he can't help himself. I don't think he has a clue of the verbal abuse he perpetuates as it is as natural to him as breathing. He begins many sentences with "anyone that can read" "anyone with intelligence" in his feeble attempt to impose his will that disagreeing with him makes the reader uneducated and/or uninformed.
I generally attempt to keep my profession out of my judgements of people without full knowledge of their personalities, however in Erics case...there is too much to ignore. For those of you interested please read the medical definitions of narcissism and sociopathic tendencies and I think Eric will come to mind. Arguing with him is futile as he lives in a world created by him..therefore the rules of conduct have nothing to do with fairness. He will cut you off at the knees and respond that he is doing this for your own good..however one negative word said in response is tantamount to murder in his world.
Nothing short of years of psychotherapy will alter this behavior, unfortunately most dont seek this... as part of the pattern is that it is never their fault. Wife abusers fall under this catagory..as in "I only hit you for your own good..or I wouldnt have hit you if YOU hadn't done/said what you did".
Does anyone know exactly what these "false allegations" are? I just don't have the time to sift through the self serving postings to see if this was posted. The thing I am amazed at is that a site that was designed to exchange information between non professionals allows these continued posts. Is it lost on no one but Eric that the entire thread of mens rights is posted by Eric with no responses? Communication is the interaction between two or more people...and this is sorely lacking in this thread.
I have gleaned some very good information and I would like to personally thank Onyx and Gryph as well as others for their numerous insights...incuding their Eric posts. Take care.
