Well, I think you got *his* number by calling him a loser. Anyway, yes, you should go for more, according to your expenses. and his income.. which are high, but no one can make you lower your childs standard of living. I can bet Eric will come in here and tell you that you should move to a crappy neighborhood. Dont listen to him. If your child is comfortable, successful, and loved - which I know is the case, nothing should be taken from him (or her- cant remember if you have a boy or a girl, apologies) Just because you and your ex couldnt work it out, doesnt mean that your child should have the rug ripped out from under him. I only wish that I could afford a better neighborhood.... we live in a middle class neighborhood....which is fine, and has all of the trappings of raising a child well....but I have always dreampt (sp?) of raising my kids in a huge house, white picket fence, and all. Good for you that you are able to give it to your child. Keep us posted. As far as your ex goes, why dont you remind him WHY you all moved into that neighborhood.... and what he intending to give his child in doing so. Blessings, Onyx
