I was the bread winner for the first 18 years, then Fibromyalgia, Cancer and a year long Interferon treatment, bad neck (which the settlement paid the down payment for our house, the back pay from S.S. kept us in it. She makes 50 k now and is tired of my pain, which is much worse because of carpel tunnel, Osteoarthritis, no disc left at L-5 S-1, I leak calcium which means no bone surgery, ever. There is zero chance of me ever working. I require 20 medications a month and then some. S.S. forced me to have her insurance as primary. Can she take my insurance away immediately? When they divide income if I get it, do they add my S.S. to her income and split it? Am I right, that if I get it, I can expect it to be for 1/2 of the time we were married? Without decent insurance and pharmacy benefit I will be up the creek and a paddle shoved where the sun don't shine~!
Thanks
