Actually it's more than opinion, it's fact I've been there, if you have property that was your's before the marriage then it is yours, that you can remove even if you need the Sheriff to protect you in the process. Any of your property that get damaged while in the possession of the other party, needs to be replaced or compensation of assessed value as determined by a licensed appraiser.
I've personally been down this road and recently had a friend go through the same thing and this was the rules with his conditions as well.
