Okay, I'm going to be the fuddy-duddy in the room.
Anything like getting snockered and making out in a pickup truck outside a bar with a man you barely know is, I'm sorry, but at best its trashy behavior, at worse, its unsafe.
It may be fun. From your description I'm sure it was. But, I don't care how long you've exchanged flirty laughs and jokes, you *don't know* this guy. If on some wild off chance he turned out to be the village psycho with a DV record a mile long, who is going to take care of your kids? Their unreliable drunken father?
Don't get me wrong kota. I'm not saying you don't deserve some fun, and you most certainly deserve some affection after dealing with your moron of an ex. I will also be the first to raise my hand and say I've gone for the fun fling in my distant past.
But what you did was risky, and because he was a co-worker, can ruin your rep at work and in your town. My personal opinion, agree with it or not, is to not pursue this any further. Is he that great of a kisser to deal with that kind of fallout?
You are NOT 17 anymore. Don't act like it. Chalk this up to a brain fart and move on.
Doom and gloom lecture from your self-appointed, DivorceSource "aunt" is now over.
P.S. Mr. Right is much better than Mr. Right Now, kwim?
