because if he is capable of paying that level of financial obligations, he must have a source of income somewhere. You need to do some discovery of his financial records to establish some sort of pattern of deposits to his accounts. This would show the court that he has some money coming in...also, if his expenditures are revealed, he will have to explain where he gets the money to cover them. This will certainly help you.

But imputing income isn't easy. Is he willfully not accepting work that is available? Does he have skills/education that would put him in a similarly high earning capacity? I hope this works for you so that he will have to get a job to meet his support obligation....but if it can be shown that his lack of employment is not voluntary and that no comparable work is available, you may not be able to obtain an imputation at his old pay rate.
