Yes, there is still verbal/ emotional and a recent encounter of physical abuse. I recieved a text message from a male friend late at night and my husband freaked out and destroyed my phone and threw me to the ground a few times. It was horrible. The sad thing is that he feels that there is nothing wrong with what he did, that his actions are justified and warranted because I was acting like a "[censored]". The text was from a man that I am friends with/ went to HS with (he lives 1,500 miles away) and I do not see him. It is platonic. My husband doesn't believe me. I told my husband that I want a divorce but he is in denial about it, acts like the conversation didn't occur and then gets angry and acts like a 2 year old and pouts if I don't want to have sex with him all of the time. It is starting to make me really depressed.
