Is there a temporary order in place regarding parenting time? If so, and it is during the other parent's time, what is your concern. There is nothing to prevclude it if there is no order to preclude it. If you wish an order to preclude it, you should have some reasons.

Certainly an entire summer away would be unlikely approved by a court.
