Can he get away with debt he owned me?

He used my credit card with maxium of 5,800 availiable and already maxed out. He knows that the inerest rate was 27% and yet he was counting the money he paid the balance he owned me which is not include interest rate charges? Now he decide to stop when I am no longer relationship with him. What I can do to recover this debt and on top of that he also use my other credit cards as well that total at least 8,000. Please advice...I am on my own to pay those bills
