You answered your own question. You are on your own to pay those bills. They are in your name and YOU alone are the only person the creditors will come after. There is no getting out of it unless you file for bankruptcy. If you try to get out of repayment, and the charges were racked up over a length of time, you will be asked why you didn't put a stop to his use of the card. Pointing to unreported charges of abuse, or saying "he made me let him use the card" will get you absolutely nowhere.
