You seriously think anything a lawyer says is going to help, yours or hers...they are skittering to their holes trying to keep you two from seeing malpractice. As for the IRS..A guy across the street, took returns meant for support and signed his ex's or soon to be ex's name, they came, guns drawn, and loaded up his whole house, including duck blinds and lawn chairs...that man stood out in the street crying with his new poor kids around him..the only reason he wasn't hauled off too that day..they don't mess around...not nowadays...when everyone is scraping by.. and NO ONE SIGNS SOME ELSES NAME TO A MONETARY INSTRUMENT PIN NUMBER OR ANY OTHER WAY...ADULT PRESERVATION 101..STUPID!!!!..The IRS, Are you kidding me? Criminal embezzlers would get jeebies reading that. If you are for real and really did that be afraid, very afraid, or pay off the wife and try to hush her up..but if the IRS has it..from a former federal employee...Your Screwed. Get a tax lawyer, if you can find one to represent you.
