First, NEVER bring your daughter in the middle of it - which you did when asking her "has dad ever hurt you or made you cry?"

This is not her battle. She loves you and her mother both, don't make her a pawn.

Secondly, the best thing you can do is wait until your scheduled hearing this next week.

Third, two can play the leverage game. Has your attorney counterfiled for full custody?

If you could provide your state, there's possibly more information that could be provided.
