Losingfaith... Just an FYI...most of us here give the poster the benefit of believing them unless they prove to be lying. If they are a troll, they will do as most trolls do and slip up in their lies and expose themselves.

In her OP here, she advised that when she leaves the house he calls and questions her every move. Classic example of controlling behavior. ...."He'll yell until the wall is hit or something is broken." I read that as he hits the wall etc.. however she is not exactly specific in saying that. Perhaps she will clear that point up for us.

I still think that HE not only fits the pattern of a controlling personality that is a breath away from beating her, he is also the same. The reason I know the signs of this has very little to do with my EX. SO you are not correct when you say we answer negatively from from our own experiences Or "discord" with our EX'S. I do know the signs and cannot live with my conscience if I think someone may be in danger and I did not bring up the possibility to that person as a warning.

Losingfaith .. on the subject of the wife or EX wife that cheated and the way you treated her after with "insulting and degrading.." that is emotional and verbal abuse. Not a sickness IMO, it is a personality trait and is just a step below physical abuse. I sense there was a bit of passive aggressive behavior by both parties in that marriage. And I am quite familiar with that from the behavior of my EX and by studying the subject. he was passive aggressive and I enabled it by putting up with it.

For you to assume that we base all of our answers because that is what your wife's family and friends are doing is one big assumption on your part. I think your posts comes off more like a sermon from newly found christianity, very judgmental and tainted by the fact that your wife's friends and family believe her.
