You are right that the economy is not what it was. It's different now, unfortunately. My degree doesn't get me much at all these days. I had it good before. Things are different now. And yes, I'm living with cockroaches and a leaking roof.
However, you have at least given me some much needed REAL "pep talk" from someone who has worked her butt off to make it. That is what I relate to. I didn't get that from the two counselors I talked to, so thanks again.
