Oh My God,, someone help what a mess!

Long Story short, STBX left me for another woman ( horrible treatment) , stopped paying house, I cant afford by myself,, lost good job,, got another PT ,, looking for better,,, OK in the meantime I have applied for the Home modification, based on hardships ( lost job and abandonment) they have been working with me, said its possible House is now 3 mo delinguentas of 1/30) Talked to STBX today and he informs me that when I was at workon FRiday ( I only work 3 days and it was 1/2 day then due to snow!) HE was over here to get more clothes etc,, and the mortgage co called ,, and HE ANSWERED THE DAMN PHONE AND TOLD THEM IT WAS HIM! They said this is ,,,, we are debt coll etc.. NOW THEY THINK I WAS LYING IM SURE , THE MAN AT HOPE THAT HAS BEEN HELPING ME IS GOING TO THINK IM A LIaR, AND SO IS THE BANK, ! THEY WILL NEVER BELIEVE HE DOESNT LIVE HERE NOW,, what am I going to say and do?? He just came back into town and its briefly he has NO INTENTION OF HELPING ME WITH THIS HOUSE, I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO ! ANYONE HAVE ADVICE?? I have worked so hard the last month to find out how to apply and get everything together to try and save this house at least untill I can sell it or something! I have no where else to go !
