People........Have you read his story ? He is not able to go to school or get a job online. He is not in the same situation as stay at home moms.
He is totally disabled. Get it ?
200...You do have one advantage over the above referenced SAHM. You are collecting SSDI, so you don't have to worry about an angry ex not sending your spousal support check each month. You are also entitled to half the assets from the marriage. You could be eligible for spousal support because you became disabled during the marriage. Your standard of living may go down, but it doesn't sound so drastic as making you homeless.
I understand your concern that you will never find another partner. I'm 44 and totally disabled.....unable to bathe or dress most days. I don't forsee the dates lining up at my door either. Sometimes I feel sorry for myself because of that too......BUT, that should not (and is not) my main concern right now. I focus on doing what I can to be able to function as well as possible and get to spend as much quality time as possible with my kids and family/friends. That's nothing much you can do much to change your dating prospects right now. I think your focus is off worrying about your future dating life when you are considering ending it all.
What you can change is your marital status, living arrangements, and outlook on life. Not having the pressure of dealing with the wife might make you immeasurably happier. You need to get your head on straight to be able to evaluate what kind of future you could have.
Hang in there....and please, get some help !
