i am similar to you except it is what i want so that i can be in her life. When we were married i was the breadwinner & she was a sahm but she was in charge of everything. We were married 10 years & have been divorced almost 6 years. i left the marriage w/ nothing but the clothes i was wearing while she got our paid for house & cars & personal property. i agreed to the settlement for what i put her through. i have been working for her & her husband for over 5 years in exchange for rent on a small place of theirs. i know she is taking advantage of me but she is not mean & i get to see her at least once a day. Ironically she is the one of us who has a disability but has never gotten ssdi.
