He must provide her with support until they divorce. After that, he must provide support for his child assuming your daughter-in-law is awarded custody. The best way to start getting that money is to sue for divorce and get temporary support ordered. DFAS will start paying HER. But she can't expect that he will support her (he will always have to help support his child) for very long. They simply weren't married for very long.
