The simplest, cheapest method...if she's willing to help you reduce it, she should be willing to simply send you back a portion each month. You don't have to pay a lawyer to file this, no court costs, no time off work to go to court. You pay your CS, then she gives you back some of it. You have a record of it being paid, but she's giving you a break on what you actually pay without actually modifying the order.
