As I mentioned before here, I gave my wife a few suggestions/offers verbally like splitting all properties equally and she can retain/choose small things like furniture,appliances,TV etc before me. Now I remembered that I also said to her we can buy a small place like a condo or house for her before filing a divorce so she at least doesnt need to worry about place to live. Should I be in trouble by saying that to her initially and verbally?

No, not at all. You are free to discuss possible settlements with her. Nothing is binding until you put it in writing...unless you make an oral contract with her. But for that to happen, you have to make an offer and she has to accept that offer and you have to give considerationm, blah, blah, blah...
Continue to make OFFERS...don't try to "tell" her how it's going to be. But play fair. If you don't play fair, you'll probably end up spending more on lawyers than you ever dreamed of.
You need to get her to sign asap. If the right person gets ahold of her ear, you could end up paying a lot more than is being discussed right now.
