Thanks for your response. I appreciate your story and being honest about your feelings and thoughts. There are a number of differences between your spouse and me. I'm not lazy, I do dishes, help clean, everything outside (mow, weedeat, etc.) and even take part with children (taking to daycare and school activites). Her parents (in-laws) show great respect for me and what I do, which I think sometimes pisses my wife off. I think we are even between our responsibilites inside the house. I have no expensive hobbies, like a lot of my friends do. I just want to be happy and raise my kids in a good, solid home.
Your question about losing respect for me is a good one and I think is a main point that I will have to follow up on. Thanks for responding.
