"Well, it seems to me that if the police report had a description and you were in the court, it would have easily been disproven. Not like the magistrate goes, "Mr. Smith, did you abuse her?" "No, your honor" "Oh, okay, you are free to go..."
It never got to court, as I expected. The police took him, handcuffed and after subduing him, to the magistrate who let him go. I don't know what scenario you are imagining.
