I don't think the OP wants the lower income, that would be stupid. What I think the OP wants is a job in the future... what good would it do to keep the job she has now only to get laid off in 6 or 12 months? If she posted on here after that, she would be called an idiot for not taking another job when she has the opportunity when the writing was on the wall. And how would THAT affect her ability to support the child... [/quote]

I understand that she is afraid of losing her job because it is in the insurance field. But to be honest, being in the health insurance field is a good place to be considering that more people will probably have to get health insurance.

There was nothing that indicated that she is in imminent danger of losing her higher paying job except her fears. A court isn't going to care about her fears. All they will care about is if she chose to quit a higher paying job or not.
