If I understand you correctly, you are simply saying " I support alimony when the law says it is fair..."

Is that correct ? You have nothing to say about the the fairness of the law, you simply support the law no matter what. I hope you see the slavery parallel, eh ? And about a million other historical examples.

On the other hand, blind obediance to the law has served idiot lawyers and their wallets well over the years.
