So I will try to make a long story short. My wife and I are getting ready to appear for our hearing in Ohio for an uncontested dissolution of marriage. She makes 36k a year and I make 73k. We were married 7 and 1/2 years. Going into the process and even now we get along great and have two children. In our agreement I pay the full child support at about $1,200 a month and she does NOT want spousal support, in fact in the verbiage of the decree it states no court shall preside over it. We both just want it over with. I did refi the house in my name because she did not want to live in it any longer, pay our high mortgage payment, and because it is worth less than what I owe so we took car eof that before hand.
My question is for some reason I am getting nervous we will get into the court room and the judge will abritrarily order spousal support or deny the divorce because he wants her getting more even though she doesnt want it and in fact doesnt want to see me broke because of it. Am i worrying to much? Can this happen?
