in free money (cs), well, in many places, that's not too shabby.

How do you figure it's free money? It goes to reimburse the CP for part of the childrens expenses. It's funny how NCP's or NCP spouses always seem to think the CP is a blood sucker. The CS for my 3yo doesn't even cover half of her daycare expenses. CS is ALL her dad spends on her because he's not around to take her. I have her 100% of the time. I make sure she stays in touch with him by phone and send pictures over the phone weekly. He gets half of all pictures I have taken and if by chance he is within 100 miles of our house I drive her to where he is and meet him so he can spend an hour with her . I do it because I am her mom and it's my responsibility to make sure she has a relationship with him, and he pays CS because it's his responsibility to make sure he helps make sure she has what she needs. Describing it as "free money" is an insult.
