Really why doesn't Dad shut off the 17 yr olds phone, or take the car away. How am I too force this. Lock him out, turn my back in my child. Tie him up, hire some one obviously much bigger than I to carry the kid to his Dads? This has been discussed with counselors and lawyer, maybe you are more educated then them and can advise me since they are giving bad info. They say to encourage him to go back, talk to him NOT BULLY, and certainly don't shut the child out in the street to run away it become a dilinquent. Be supportive of the father son relationship. But mist if all provide him a safe home where he can go to school, do his studies and become a good citizen. Maybe they are just DENSE? Or maybe u are the dense one? He is not doing 50/50 care how ditching your kids the last 9 wknds 50% if his time. He doesn't want parental responsibility he only wants to pay $267 a month instead of 1100 a month that's all shared parenting was to him was the better option of $1100 a month for me being primary or $267 with shared. Nobody let's there kids stay over with friends EVERY weekend! Atleast not parents that enjoy spending time with there children, if ur idea if spending time with kids and parenting is from 6pm after work until they go to bed 2 days a week... Maybe. But there us something to spending quality time with kids in the weekend , making memories. Your so busy dwelling in the 17 yr old issue that you fail to see 2 little girls that are 11 & 13 getting lost in the shuffle here. And if be can't take care if them in the weekend at thus age god help us when they are 16. Guess they will just be able to go where ever all weekend then and who will they answer too, will they really be a there "friends". I'd like to say maybe u are too dense to see that, but I would never insult someone like that. I am not doing this back and forth with you. I divorced a person that wad insulting and always right such as urself for a reason and u don't need this. Clearly asked peoples opinion , and I have heard yours.
