If we can laugh AT ourselves, no one can EVER laugh AT us, only WITH us." - AND we also need to take some things seriously... The suicide rate of a teenager that was victim of bullying and teasing is alarmingly high. You may want to take that risk for your children, but I refuse to do so with mine. Clearly, I am providing my child with the assistance (therapy and meds) to be able to, one day, let things like this roll off her back. That is not developed with my child...and thousands just like her.

This was not "good nature ribbing" if it went on for 2 days. She thought is was dropped on Saturday. Then it starts back up the following day, but with several people and mostly adults. Calling her a "carpet muncher" and saying that she looks butch.... amongst all the other things. Really?!?!?!?!

THAT is appropriate of them? I have no cause to approach them about this behavior, eh? Whatever....
